A FAMILY OF LA PLUMBERS

About Maverick Drain — Family-Owned LA Plumbers

For more than 15 years, the Maverick Drain family has cleared LA’s drains, repaired its sewers, and answered 3am emergency calls across LA County and the San Gabriel Valley. We’re not a franchise. We’re not a national chain. We’re the local plumber your neighbor recommended — and we plan to stay that way.

OUR STORY

15+ Years of Family Plumbing in LA County

Maverick Drains started with a simple idea: there should be at least one LA plumbing company that homeowners can trust to tell them the truth. No high-pressure sales. No commission-driven upsells. No manufactured findings designed to inflate the bill. Just honest assessments, fair flat-rate pricing, and the same standard of work whether you’re a first-time customer or a 15-year repeat. That foundation hasn’t changed since we opened our doors.

From the beginning, the business has been family-owned and operated. Santos — who grew up around plumbing and learned the trade hands-on — built the company on the same standards he learned from his family: a handshake means something, you do the job right the first time, and you treat your customer’s home the way you’d treat your own family’s home. Those standards are why most of our work today comes from neighbors and referrals.

Today, Maverick Drains continues that legacy with modern equipment, a 24/7 dispatch system, and a focused service line — drain cleaning, hydro jetting, sewer repair, water heater work, leak repair. When you hire Maverick, you’re choosing a business built on 15+ years of hands-on LA experience, run by a family that lives in the community you live in, with trucks rolling through your neighborhood every day.

Our Mission & Values

Four principles guide every Maverick Drains job — from a $0 dispatch visit at 3am to a multi-day trenchless sewer line replacement.

Honest Diagnostics

We show you the problem before we quote the fix. If your drain can be cleared with a snake instead of a full hydro jet, we'll tell you — and we'll show you the camera footage that proves it.

Craftsmanship

We are drain, sewer, and water heater specialists. Not roofers, not generalists, not handymen with a plumbing van. Focused expertise compounds over 15+ years — and it's why we solve problems on the first visit that other companies need three to figure out.

Community

We are LA-local, not a national franchise dispatching strangers. Our trucks roll through your neighborhood every day. We treat your home the same way we'd treat our family's home in LA — because most of our work comes from neighbors and referrals.

Protection

Plumbing is your home's invisible defense system. Failures cost thousands and damage what you've worked decades to build. Our job is to protect your foundation, your floors, and your peace of mind — every call, every time.

WHY HOMEOWNERS CHOOSE US

Why LA Homeowners Trust Maverick Drains

Integrity First

We believe in doing what's right, not what's most profitable. If your drain can be cleared with a snake instead of a full hydro jet, we'll tell you. If your sewer can be repaired instead of replaced, you'll see the camera footage proving it before we quote the work.

No Upselling — Just Solutions

You won't get high-pressure sales or manufactured findings. We give you the diagnosis we'd want for our own families. Most of our work comes from referrals — and referrals only happen when customers feel they were treated honestly.

Insured

We carry full insurance to protect your home and our team. If anything goes wrong on a job, you're covered. We work with insurance adjusters when needed and document every job for claim filing.

Local LA County Expertise

From Pasadena's 1920s cast iron pipes to Diamond Bar's modern PVC, we know which LA neighborhoods have which kinds of plumbing — and which failure patterns to watch for. That local knowledge is what separates us from chain plumbers reading scripts.

100% Drain & Sewer Specialists

We don’t install roofs. We don’t replace windows. We don’t take handyman work.

We specialize exclusively in drain cleaning, hydro jetting, sewer repair, leak repair, and water heater service. Focused expertise = better outcomes on every job.

Meet the Owner of Maverick Drains Inc.

Santos Monte

Owner & Operator

Santos has spent his entire career in plumbing, building Maverick Drains from a single truck and a hand-snake to a fully equipped LA County drain and sewer operation. He still personally answers customer calls, runs jobs alongside his technicians, and reviews every camera inspection report before it goes to the customer. Santos grew up in the same LA neighborhoods Maverick serves today — and he’s adamant that the business never grow beyond what he can personally oversee. When you hire Maverick Drains, the owner knows your name. Santos can be reached at (323) 742-4665.

We Own Our Trucks, Our Cameras, Our Hydro Jets

Most LA plumbing companies rent their hydro jetting equipment, contract their camera inspections to specialists, and outsource emergency dispatch to call centers. Maverick owns everything. Our trucks are stocked with professional drain snakes, hydro jet rigs with multiple nozzle types, HD sewer cameras with self-leveling heads, leak detection equipment, and water heater installation tools. Owning our own equipment means same-day dispatch instead of scheduling around rental availability, technicians who actually know the gear, and prices that don’t include rental markup or third-party fees. It also means our trucks are clearly Maverick-branded — when you see one in your neighborhood, you know who’s responding.
